PETFOOLS

TIMEFRAME: Within a condensed 48-hour window, I embarked on a creative endeavour to shape the PetFools brand.

ITEMS PRODUCED: Logo, Favicon, Letterhead, Social Media Icons, and comprehensive Brand Guidelines.

ROLE: As the sole contributor to this project, I undertook the responsibility of creating a straightforward yet engaging logo for an animal-themed website.

PRODUCTION TOOLS AND SOFTWARE: The creative process relied on traditional tools, namely pencil and paper, supplemented by digital design using Illustrator.

OBJECTIVE: The overarching aim of this project was to craft a logo and accompanying brand guidelines tailored to the needs of a pet-themed website.

TARGET AUDIENCE: PetFools caters to a specific audience: individuals with a deep affinity for animals, ranging from pet owners seeking insights on pet care to those interested in expanding their knowledge about various animal species. PetFools is here to help curate all the information to taking care of your pets or helping you pick out a new one.

CONCEPT:
During the brand's conceptualization phase, we recognized the significance of establishing a welcoming color palette that conveys the joy and warmth associated with animals.

CHALLENGE: The primary challenge was the restricted timeframe, prompting close collaboration with the client to align with their expectations. This led to a prompt transition to digital design and multiple iterative cycles to meet the project's quick turnaround.

PROCESS: The project spanned two days, divided into three distinct phases. The first phase entailed research, encompassing an analysis of existing brands and the creation of mood boards for type, color, and overall aesthetics. The second phase involved ideation, with rough sketches progressing to refined digital versions, focused on precise detailing. In the final phase, all elements were consolidated. The project's culmination involved delivering a logo package equipped for print and web use, with variants in full color, black and white, and grayscale. Additionally, comprehensive brand guidelines were provided to ensure optimal brand usage.
